i wanna know how to disable url that has been browse when you are typing for a website url...

example

when i like to go to google.com

i will just type g and the computer lists all the website that has been browse starting in letter g...

get what im saying....?

how can i disable it....??

  2. If you are using the latest version of Internet Explorer on Windows Vista then I can help you.

    In the upper right corner of your browser click on the thing that says tools.

    Then click on delete browsing history.

    Then a box will come up, click delete browsing history.

  3. By default, AutoComplete stories entries for Web addresses as well as user names and passwords for forms. You can configure what AutoComplete is used for or even turn it off completely.

    To perform this task in Internet Explorer 7:

       1. Open Internet Explorer.

       2. Click Tools and select Internet Options.

       3. Select the Content tab.

       4. Click the Settings button under AutoComplete.

       5. Clear the check box beside any options you do not want

       6. Click OK.

    To perform this task in Firefox 2.0:

    • Select "Tools"

    • Select "Options".

    • Select "Privacy".

    • In Private area click "Clear Now".

    • In "Clear Private Data" window put the check mark for "Saved form and Search History" and click "Clear Private Data Now".

    • Click OK.

    To clear AutoComplete in Firefox 1.5:

    • Select "Tools"

    • Select "Options".

    • Select "Privacy".

    • Open "Saved Forms" tab and click "Clear Saved Form Data Now".

    • Click OK.
