Question:

Internet tablet Nokia N8100, worth getting?

It looks to me that this internet tablet has it all; gps, mp3, good resolution, full qwerty, and internet browsing. Is there anything that might be a turnoff? I would use it mostly for GPS, videos, and internet. I know this question is vague but I am wondering if it is worth spending the approximately $400.

Thanks

  1. Well, you've posted this under call phones and plans so I guess I have to warn you that the internet tablet is not a phone, it goes not have mobile network connectivity.

So, it is a great device but not a phone thus you're asking this in the wrong place.

  2. if what you are after is all that usefulness in the smallest possible device, then its certainly a great option. just keep in mind that at $400 you are approaching cheap laptop pricing and even the cheapest laptop will provide you more options/usefulness than the n810

and as the other posted mentioned, it doesn't come with mobile internet access, but it can connect to wifi.

FYI, for those folks who travel a lot and want high speed "3G" internet access while on the road for their laptops or their gadgets like an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch, or a Sony PSP/Mylo/PS3, or Nintendo Wii/DS or Nokia 770/800/810 tablet, an Archos 605 WiFi, or even the Chumby... take a look at this article:

its also a good way to get "3G" speeds on any iPhone! and faster than AT&T!
