  1. The apple is the person.  The idea that it is high up denotes the person is high up in values, morals and quality.  It was left for someone worthy who would take the time to get it (in other words pay the price), and the apple was someone special.

    It's a great piece! --- Toni D.

  2. I think the quote is about life.  Throughout our lives it's easier to maintain the status quote.  It's easy to follow the path that someone else has laid before us.  But, it's not so easy to get or become something that few have attempted.  The fruit of our success is so much more tasty when we have worked hard for it.  I like this quote thanks for sharing!

  3. An amateur's failed attempt at poetry. The message is unclear, the language and spelling very weak.

  4. Toni D has it spot on.

Meanwhile our local "Top" contributor thinks Dante Gabriel Rossetti was an amateur - quite a talented geezer actually.

(It was "could" not "cud" in the original)

  5. I believe the SWEET APPLE WHICH REDDENS is a special girl, because girls are like apples on trees, the best ones are usually at the top of the tree. The boys dont want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt.

Instead they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy.

So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they are amazing. They jus have to wait till the right  boy comes along. The one who is brave enough to climd all the way to the top of the tree!!!!
