Interpretive Solo?

Okay, I really want to do an interpretive solo but I'm having trouble choosing music.

Here's what I'm thinking so far

House of Bamboo

Every time we touch- cascada

What's new pussycat

something by madonna

or something from a musical

I'm not sure if any of these are that great to skate to though

What's your opion or can you think of something better?

:D Thanks

  1. my faves are the new soul, madonna or everytime we touch they have a fast and slow version.

  2. Do a song with variations of tempo because that makes everything about it more interesting and you will probably have better choreography.  Songs from musicals are great even though they are a little bit cheesy because you have a chance to really get into character.  I would suggest "Journey to the Past" from the movie Anastasia because it's one of my favorite songs.  Tara Lipinski skated to it a while back.  Here's a link to her performance:

  3. Iam skating to forrset gump theme tune for a programme, give it a listen. Its a really nice peice, xox

  4. I would go with forest gump too, I have a solo right now that I hate, and I wish I chose forest gump. :*(

  5. What's New Pussycat has been done before. But, I think it would be great!
