I went in for a group interview at one of A&F's Manhattan locations(it might matter) on Tuesday and at the end of the interview, the store manager and the girl in charge of interviewing asked us to please refrain from calling the store to find out if we were hired and we would know by the end of the week, or Saturday(for impact).
I read somewhere on yahoo answers where a guy encouraged someone to call and then they'd get the job. i think that was a bad idea cuz i called the store and the girl asked for my name and said shed check my application status. i didnt really wanna tell her in case she was the manager or something and look too pushy but i had to. she left, then came back and said she was told that we werent supposed to call, we'd get a call from A&F regardless if we're hired or not.
Should I wait until Monday? cuz maybe since its the holiday weekend, they're not calling people...? Or should I call today and not give my name?
i dont think i did well on the interview :(
