Interview for Allied Barton Monday?

Question

I just got a call for an interview with a company called Allied Barton for a security officer position. Will this help me at all in any way to become a correctional officer for a jail or prison?

Also i know security officers are called rent a cop sometimes and such, but do they carry handcuffs or mace or any items of the sort, or their pulse and a flashlight? thanks

It might help, but probably not.

Depends upon the contract that the company has, company regulations,your licensing and the laws of the state that you are in, as to how you might be armed.
