  1. The main thing is to be positive in answer to every question. Show them that you are an upbeat person who is really interested in the job.

  2. Depends on the job.  Regardless, the following list is useful:

    Don't be nervous.

    Dress formally.

Take a few copies of your resumes with you.

    Be honest, be yourself.

Study about the company and position.

Show interest in the company and the job (from the above homework).

Prepare some some very valid questions about the job.

Be prepared to tell something negative about you (if asked), without sounding it very bad./

  3. be confident in your answers.

    be honest in your answers.

    be yourself.

make them feel like they need you, not you need them.

    best of luck!

  4. Try to dress like the employees already working there.  Then, find out some things about the company that make you want to work there.  Prepare yourself for the questions about what you expect from the company, and the other ultimate one, which is, "Why should I hire you?"  If you have those answers down pat, you'll be just fine.  Also, don't cross your arms, and certainly do not cross your legs above the ankles.  Shake hands with your interviewer in a way that makes your palm angled slightly downward (about 15 degrees to the left).  That will convey you have "power" over your interviewer.  It's a great technique that will get you more control of your situation subconsciously.  Dress for success.  Don't wear gaudy jewelry, and don't wear piercings that are visible to the interviewer, unless you're applying at a tattoo shop. If it's possible to do so, ask the interviewer to walk you through the company while he or she conducts the interview so that you can gather info for your own questions.  Enjoy the day and go in expecting them to give you the job.  If you are qualified, they shouldn't have any reason to NOT give you a try with their company.

  5. All good advice. I might add; Be on time, confident and show you can do the job, be professional.  Throw in a hint of your sense of humor - if you can.  Don't say too much - be brief and to the point. If they want to hear more they'll ask you to elaborate.  Don't fidget.  Be well groomed and poised.  You have one opportunity here - so grab it - don't have any regrets later.  Remember you are selling yourself - don't be nervous.

Best of Luck with it !

  6. maintain eye contact and smile.
