  1. Sounds like everything went well.  Their is nothing wrong with follow up call or email.  Try it.  Maybe you will receive some feedback that will relax you a bit.  Good Luck.

  2. Sounds like you have got it.

Firstly they will have to get the OK from the local authority(standard procedure) then they let the lucky person know. As it's holiday time, this may take a few days longer than normal.

    Good luck

  3. I think that you did just fine! You answered the questions to the best of your ability, which is good- sometimes people can get too confident with places or people they're familiar with. If you didn't, it sounds to me like you did a good job!

If the interview was Monday, and you haven't heard Thursday, it's okay! You don't have to assume anything just yet. Make sure to send a thank you card or letter as soon as you can, and about a week later call to check on the "status of the search." By reiterating your interest that way, it should bring you back to mind. And you look as though they had you in mind to begin with.

Best of luck- you should be fine! :)

  4. Honestly? I would've thought you would've heard by now if you were being offered the position. Sounds to me (but I'm no expert) that they've offered the job to someone else and are awaiting that person's response (to confirm whether they will accept it or not) before sending out letters of rejection to the other candidates. If I'm right, do not despair, you may be second choice. Wait and see.

Hope I haven't depressed you too much; my motto is that if it's for you, you'll get it. If not, something else will come along. Everything happens for a reason.

    Good luck.
