Interview tomorrow, holiday in a week??

Question

I had an interview the other day and they asked if I had any holidays planned before Christmas, I didn't. Now I have a second interview tomorrow and I've after booking a holiday from the 2nd of September to the 10th, very last minute.

What should I do?

Tell them something came up last minute and that you did have a holiday you needed to book.

Although chances are that they may decide to go with someone else if you keep your vacation.

Why did you plan a vacation with this little bit of time in advance knowing you had already informed them that you didn't have anything planned. That makes you look irresponsible unless it was for emergency reasons.

Were you offered the job already? If so (and you accepted), you need to tell your supervisor this as soon as your first day so he/she is aware of it.
