The former manager of the Pakistan cricket team, Intikhab Alam, has finally broken his silence and rebuffed the chargers levelled on him by former one-day skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahid-Afridi-c2482, who in an interview had called Alam a “hypocrite” and the driving force behind
his removal as the captain of the national team.
Alam, who on Tuesday was removed as the manager of the national team has now been replaced by Naveed Akram Cheema. This sudden decision sparked many rumours regarding the sacking of the 69-year-old Alam as he had become a controversial figure after accusations
from Afridi.

“I served as Pakistan’s manager ‘honestly’ and tried to do everything possible to put the national team on the right track,” said Alam
