Into what ocean do most of the rivers in North America drain?

Atlantic. Gulf of Mexico isn't an ocean. Indian ocean doesn't touch NA. Any river emptying into the Gulf of Mexico all enter the Atlantic...so...Atlantic. Tagger

The Atlantic - the continental divide that determines this is in the western part of the continent (rocky mountains) - as there is more land and more rivers east of the continental divide, the waters flow to the Atlantic (of which the Gulf of Mexico is an extension)
