  1. Yes the first paragraph should be an introduction and it should include your thesis.

The intro paragraph typically introduces the topic and how you feel about it (which can also be your thesis).  For your essay you can also say why you like it or what tennis is or how long it's been around...really it's up to you.

An example of a thesis is: Tennis is an amazing sport because....and then you present a reason behind your thinking but don't go in depth with it just say why you think that.

Then in the next paragraph you would have your body or elaboration of the thesis.  Which means this is where you go in depth in your explanation of why tennis is such an amazing sport.

In your last paragraph or conclusion paragraph you would sum up what you've said in rest of your paper.  Usually can by done by restating your thesis and doing a quick summary of why you believe what you believe.

  2. Yes you should write a thesis statement in 25 words or less explain what your paper is about, as well as make your thesis so it will catch the readers attention so they will want to read on further into your paper! hope that helps.

  3. yes thats how to do it, and ur thesis statement should basically tell what the topic is and why its important
