Introduced plants and animals are not native to the area.  E.g., introduced plants in the USA include cotton, soybeans, rice, and wheat.  For Europe, some introduced plants would be tomatoes and potatoes.  An introduced plant in the southern USA is kudzu, which has become a so-called invasive species.  Check out this website for other invasive species.
