We could go back to horses but they produce their own form of pollution

no! but tell rice,to make a solar powered car or a wind farm we need to use fosil fuels for the melting of the steel,so theres no argument

bit naive isn't it, without wheels, no clocks, no mechanisms of any kind, not just cars you know.

No way. Wheels don't cause pollution. Fossil Fuels do. There's plenty of alternate energy ideas that use wheels that cause no pollution.

Like solar powered cars, wind power etc.
