  1. You stay calm and buy more if you are invested for the long term.

  2. Certainly, you can buy new stocks or add to existing positions.  I'm fully invested.  I organized my portfolio with current economic conditions in mind.  When I see market volatility like this, I turn off the stock ticker and turn on the TV.  Fear and panic lead to unwise trades.  The Dow jumped 200 points Thursday.  I'm not worried.

  3. Buy.

  4. Buy!

  5. The key is being prepared.   You should always have stocks in your watch list that you are interested in buying.  Then, no matter what the market does, you can respond without emotion or fear.  Because you are trading on your terms.  Except you might get a better deal than you expected.

This isn't the first time the market has had a huge swing.  It won't be the last.   If you are ready for it, no problem.  If you aren't ready, take a walk and ignore the market for the day.

  6. I took profits yesterday knowing the employments numbers were coming out today.  Only had a few open trading positions which, so far. are o.k. my investments still are holding their own

    I never panic, and I don't trade/invest on emotions.

Today I did may household chores, and now I'm going out to dinner

    Monday's another day
