  1. I wear a retainer, so this may help a little. At first when I got my retainer, I could talk, but no one could understand me. After a few days, it got a lot easier to talk. It just takes some getting used to. It stays in because you get a mold of your mouth, so it fits like a glove. It shouldn't be loose... That means something is wrong.

    Hope I helped!

  2. The aligners are on your teeth tightly.  That's the point of them.  To slowly move your teeth.  If they were loose, they wouldn't be doing their job.

The first few days you get them, it takes a little adjustment.  You may talk a little differently but you adjust.  You may also feel like you're salivating more.  Just your body getting used to those aligners in your mouth.  But, you get used to them.
