Question:

Invisalign and Crossbites?

I have a crossbite case 3. When i was 13 years old i had full braces and had to wear rubberbands. I was irresponsible and didn't take the treatment serious. I didn't wear the rubber bands that attach the braces. Now i am 20 years old regretting it. However i WOULD wear them this time. After all, this would come from MY wallet this time. Now my questions:

Is it possible to fix this crossbite case 3 with invisalign?

How much would this cost, it doesnt seem severe since the first time seems to have corrected it some.

Is jaw surgery a possibility? How much would that cost?

Appreciate the help, I know prices vary so if u can give estimate ranges it would be helpful.

  1. Invisaline works. But Damon Braces would be alot less painfull (done both) and Damon Braces are  alot fast then "conventional" braces.

The average price for Damon Braces is about $5,000. They can set up payment plans that can fit your budget too. I would HIGHLY recommend that instead of Invisaline.

If braces arn't an option though. Still go talk to an Orthodontist. The Invisaline retainers are the exact same thing that Orthodontist give a person after they get there braces off.

What they do is take a mold of your mouth and then a Lab Tech. will cut the teeth out of the mold that are crooked and then put them back where they should be. Make the retainer. Then give it to you to wear full time for a month.

I've done all these, and I'd say braces are the least painful. But the retainers do work. :)
