Question:

Invitation form for VISA?

Someone wants to send me a formal invitation letter so that I can submit that invitation to his country's embassy and get the visa to his country. What should he mention in the invitation letter? Are there any template or pre-defined format for such letters? Any help will be appreciated.

  1. The invitation is an administrative formality, nothing more.  The sender of the letter should identify himself by title and position (if applicable), state how he knows you and the extent of any relationship, when he would like you to visit, for what purpose, and that you will be his guest (i.e., he will be financially responsible for you during your stay).  He should also include contact information so that the embassy personnel may contact him for further information.

  2. no way to obtain a visa that way.Just go to embassy and apply for a visa. This will be a decision of the consular officer. In some country still request that you have a round trip fare.guarantee back to work position and some kind of guarantee that you are returning to the point of departure.
