Hoping someone out there can help out. We are having a combined bachelor/bachelorette party. We already have the party planned out. A cookout at mine and my husband house. Than we are going to the river for a river boat ride. Don't know how to do the invite, because everyone who would like to come on the boat will need to pay a small amount. Any ideas??? suggestions?? Anything please.

Serious answers only please - really need help on this one.

Thank you

  1. Whoever is throwing the bach/bachlorette party should take care of it.  What usually happens is the Best Man and MOH plan it.  They figure out the costs and divide it between everyone coming (including the tickets for the Bride and Groom).  So let's say between the cook out and the tickets, everyone needs to chip in $30 each.  The MOH and BM would be calling everyone and telling them how much to throw in and it would all be paid for ahead of time.  It works best if the BM and MOH have the cash all in their hands prior to people showing up or you'll end up with a lot of "can you spot me" which will ruin the time for the BM and MOH.

  2. can you get everyone's email address?

evite.com you can make an on line invite and send them out, then they respond and you get an email with the RSVP

you just mention that there will be a $... whatever fee for the day that includes.....
