Invoicing system...?

Can anyone reccommend an invoicing system for a newly formed company, bearing in mind, that initially there will only be several invoices per month being issued to clients.

Ideally using my own logo'ed headed paper, and preferably not to complex.

Thanks in advance.

Laymens terms please, this is a new venture, and considering that i have only just mastered the art of using a type writer, it could prove baffling.

  1. the simplest way to invoice for you is to build a template in your office program this is very simple and costs nothing, (a letterhead).

    when you need to raise an invoice just type the invoice, you can email the invoice to your client and print off 2 copies, one to send to your client (on headed paper). this is how invoicing used to be done and it was so simple,

    " invoice for *******, work carried out *******, this is how much you owe us *******

    please pay by *******"

    keep the other as a hard copy for your own records. back up everything to disk and you can use this system until your business grows and you have a heavier volume of invoicing. a brought invoicing system will cost you a few pound and it sounds like you dont need that yet!!!!


  2. It might be worth using Quickbooks.  It is something my company is about to start using.

    They have all different packages to suit most people.

    They are really helpful over the phone too!
