Involuntarily Eye Movement Question?

does anyone else know what i'm talking about when i say that when i try to focus on an object sometimes, my eyes move so quickly back and forth a couple times for maybe a second or two and then i can focus on whatever im looking at.. i can actually feel it and see my vision moving left and right back and forth but its over very quickly, i was wondering if theres a name for it, and if im not the only one, thanks

Go see an optomitrist. I know a few people that do that but it doesn't stop. Their eyes are constantly moving back and forth.
