"The way I look at it is that Warne has targeted Aleem Dar just to gain cheap publicity. That is all," Inzamam said while speaker on
Geo Super.
The former Australian spin legend, Shane Warne, took it out on Dar following his bad decision making and poor umpiring during the ongoing English tour to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750.
“Players get dropped if they have poor form, Aleem Dar has had two shockers in India and always has been a bad decision maker! Poor umpire,” tweeted Warne.
Hailing the umpire for his performance over past few years, Inzamam asked the ICC to take notice of the situation and penalise Shane Warne for making such harsh comments.
"I think it would be best for Dhoni to try to convince his board to use the Umpires Decision Review System (DRS) instead of criticising the umpires," Inzamam added.
Having 120 Tests under his belt, the former skipper said that the new rules are for the benefit of the game and should be implemented all across the cricketing nations.
"It is time the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 get its member nations on the same wavelength as far as the DRS is concerned as it had proven beneficial for the game and teams," conveyed Inzamam.
Praising the support from Pakistani media, Aleem Dar accepted the criticism by others and believed moving on was the right option than retiring over such a controversy.
When asked about the seven-day coaching camp set for Pakistani players before the Indian tour, Inzamam’s response was that all he has to offer are some insights about Indian tours he was once a part of. He feels there are other higher calibre former players
from Pakistan who have a lot to teach.
The classic batsman also feels that the national team will require a good batting coach for their tour to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757, scheduled for next year.
