Pakistan cricket team is scheduled to tour India later this month to play two T20 Internationals and three One Day Internationals against the hosts. The series kick starts on December 25 with a T20 International between the nemeses in Bangalore, and will run till January 6 next year. This is the first bilateral series between the two sub-continental cricketing giants in more than five years, and pressure is expected to be high on both sides owing to the traditional rivalry between the two countries.
While speaking to media reporters on the sidelines of a conditioning camp at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the veteran batsman urged the players to remain focused on their game and avoid off-field distractions if they want to do well against India.
"Against India, one should be focused on the game instead of other activities…If we keep focus on ourselves, we will perform better," said Inzamam during a media interaction at the end of the day's training on Saturday.
