Ionic Breeze Midi Hissing?

My Ionic Breeze Midi recently started hissing. I had just cleaned off the blades and let them dry for 48 hours. I noticed the lines are emitting a purple light at the top while it hisses. I turned the base upside down several times, but it's still buzzing/hissing pretty badly. Is there anything else I can do to try to fix it? Or is it broken?

At least your was trying to work.  Mine died right after cleaning, even though it was cleaned accoring to their instructions.  This is the second one that has done this to us.  I would not recommend any of their air purifiers to anyone.
