Ionic air cleaners

Question

Some of the ionic's can produce ozone which can be irritating to eyes and lungs.  I have both large and small HEPA purifiers (with switchable ionizers that I don't use anymore).  And the smaller tabletop Hunter HEPAtech?? 25 was pretty cheap ($50) and while the filters are about $25 they can last many months, and there is a reusable foam prefilter that can be washed many times before changing the main HEPA filter.
