Ionic pro ca500. the cleaning wire is broken and the red light will not go off how do i fix

the cleaning wire is broken and the red light will not go off how do i fix itcleaning wire mechanism has a small chip missing from it, I think this is causing the red light to stay on. Any suggestions?
