Iowa Hawkeye Football 2008?

I am getting ready to go back to the University of Iowa for the fall, and I LOVE going to Hawkeye football games. I know last year we struggled alot, mostly on offense, and we lost several key defensive players. We also have tough games against Iowa State, Penn State and Wisconsin. Any thoughts or predictions for the Hawks this year?

Iowa hasnt got any better than last year really.They will get to a bowl game however this season and most likely finish 7-5 or 8-4.There season is tough but its the big ten...its not much of a challenge as of late and only team taking advantage of that is Ohio State.If your a true hawkeye fan dont worry.You get to witness some exciting games with Iowa show a glimse of a come back in 2009 but this year you'll enjoy the games for sure.

Iowa will probably again be a middle-of-the-pack team, and make it to one of the lesser bowl games (but to a bowl nonetheless).

The Big Ten in general is going to be alot better this year, with OSU, PSU, & Wisconsin looking dead nasty, and Michigan State, Illinois (although I think they're the most overrated team in the conference this year), & Purdue looking 'pretty good'...

...that doesn't bode well for the Hawkeyes unfortunatley. I see you play @ Pitt this year as well, and they're also supposed to be really good this year too. Well hey...at least you play Minnesota! They've been a disaster recently (and of course, my team (PSU) didn't get to play em' last year or this year while they're total garbage).

I say the Hawkeyes probably go 6-6. Optimisitically speaking, they could go 7-5 if they play their hearts out, and I think they'll win 5 at the absolute least.

they can be pretty good this year they'll deffinatley kill all the Acc teams, lol but its gonna be tough in the BIG TEN, because the big ten is the best football conference, and i think the hawkeys can beat iowa state.
