Ip blocked?

ok i use bitcomet to download stuff, but my ip is blocked on it, which effects my downloads. i have 3 mb download speed but i only get an average of 300kb/s. i fear its my router, its a linksys router btw. wat i wanna no is, is there anyway to configure bitcomet or my router so i can get my full download potential?

  1. To get a higher bandwidth you will have to switch ports (used in conjuction with your IP address prob 192.168.x.x:6881-7999) on your PC and forward the port on the router because of NAT.  

    Torrents use common ports to download data to your computer. You'll won't be able to use the full bandwidth as ISP's are now throttling these connections.

  2. maybe change p2p clients?? try Utorrent

    or try port forwarding for bitcomet
