Well, there's always been the finger or spoon to the back of the throat.  Also, strong salt water (saturated, where no more salt can dissolve) will work for some people.

Ipecac is poisonous, and there is concern that it was used by bulemics to purge themselves.  I suspect this is why it is hard to get.
