Iphone 3G reducing price of Ipod Touch?

How much would the Ipod Touch 8gb price be after distributing Iphone 3G for $199?

The iPod store has the Ipod Touch 8gb for $299 now and is more expensive than the Iphone at the moment. How much are they going to reduce the Ipod Touch?

My guess is $150. Seems right?

After the back to school promotion they have going on ends (in mid-September), I'm pretty sure they're going to discontinue the 8 GB iPod Touch, and perhaps even introduce a 64 GB one. They will probably also drop the 16 GB down to the $299 price, and similarly drop the 32 GB to $399. If they do introduce the 64 GB iPod touch, it will probably take the $499 price spot.

Not sure what they're going to do there.  I read something on Yahoo that they were charging less for the new iPhone but charging more for service on it, so it actually ends up costing you more than the original iPhone when you add up the total cost for a 2 year contract.

I would think the same.  I hope they reduce it.  Right now the ipod is more expensive that  the iphone (some people think)which is twice as better...
