Iphone 3g Or MacBook?

I already have a pc desktop but i Really don't get privacy to go on Myspace etc. but my dad said he would get my brother a MacBook and he would give me his laptop but it's all old and scracthed up and its a pc again! Ive been wanting a Mac for such a long time but The Iphone 3g looks so cool and so awesome please help? Also i will be recieving it for my really good behavior and grades displayed recently!
