Iphone 3g Questions!?

If anyone could help me answer the following questions, you would be such a big help!

1. If I have an unlocked Iphone 3g, I can use it with any GSM carrier.

2.When I sign up with a carrier, I can go on a voice plan, Not an iphone 3g data pack, just a regular voice plan.

3. Rogers / Fido?

1. If I have an unlocked Iphone 3g, I can use it with any GSM carrier. of course you can, that's the point of unlocking a cell phone. However in Canada, there are only 2, Rogers and Fido.

2.When I sign up with a carrier, I can go on a voice plan, Not an iphone 3g data pack, just a regular voice plan.: Sure you can. Since it's an unlocked phone, how do you think Rogers or Fido will know that it's an i phone? They cannot retrace the model of a handset when the IMEI is not one of theirs. Don't even mention it.

3. Rogers / Fido?: Fidooooooooooo

Way cheaper, billed by the second, NO stupid activation fees.

1. no just the ones who have sim cards rogers or fido

2. if you did not but the phone from the carrier yes you can get a regular plan

3. go with rogers better service
