Iphone 3g problems??

Question

OK so i just got my phone today, and i downloaded so apps and it was all working fine...but when i went to hook it up to my comp w/ itunes it said i had to install the new itunes 7. So, i did that and only put about 4 ringtones on my phone but now my apps aren't working at all. I will click on them, and they will act like they are opening up but then nothing happens and it just goes back to the main home screen. Has anyone else had this problem?? How do i fix it?

YES! that happened to me when i first got my iphone (which was around 2 weeks back) what i did was delete all the apps from my phone, sync the apps back to the phone from itunes (on my comp), and restart the phone. it worked!
