Iphone battery? jeeeebus.?

i didnt do the initial charge of 6-8 hours (i heard it was supposed to). & ive had it for about a week now. i wait for it to get down to 20% until i charge it for one hour which gets it to be 100%.

am i damaging my battery?

should i charge it for 6-8 hours now?

and after that, should i wait until it gets down to the 20% warning or should i let my phone die completely before charging it?

ive tried to look online, but there are no solid answers.

please help! i want to take the best possible care of this phone, it put a hole in my wallet! hahaha, thanks!

NO!You should only charge you iphone for only 3 hours.Becuase you battery could leak and get iphone all wet inside,And charging the iphone to long is also a sign on how people break their screens
