Iphone help?? wont connect to internet without using wifi?

Question

okay - so my iphone works okay i my house in the area of the wifi but when i leave the house it doesn't work, it says "safari cannot open web page becauese you are not connected to internet"

and it also says " you are not connected to a wireless cingular network" or somthing like that

it worked okay last night without wifi just using the o2 network, but now it wont connect at all without using wifi, i rang o2 and they said to reset the network setting and it worked okay but when i try to connect to wifi again after that i have to enter the code again & again, now that doesn't even seem to work, i then was told when i rang the signal ist good enough but it worked the night before

it depends on what phone service you are through.

they might only have  stronger phone lines in certain places..

are you connected with either At&t's edge or 3g network?

Try restarting the phone, I get the same thing with mine, it won't connect to the EDGE network or WiFi or something. Turn it off, let it sit for 2 minutes, and turn it back on.
