Iphone keyboard problems?

i have the original iphone and just today the bottom row on the keyboard dosnt work(.?123, space, and return) and when i try to press them i just types in whatever is above it like caps cvbn...and backspace what do i do

Try a restore of your iphone. iTunes will automatically back up everything.
