Iphone? question ??????????

my friend has just upgraded to the new iphone 3g and i'v got his old one but wen i put my sim card in it wont let me call anny 1 , but i wos talkin to the man in 02 and he said i can buy a sim card that will work for my iphone , the quistion is can i update this phone now or will it block it ??? thank you

maybe the old ipohone isn't unlocked.  ask the man from O2 if he can unlock the iphone for u

Yea there is a special sim card that unlocks the iphone for any service provider. Someone will come along with the name I can't remember
