Iphone stopped charging after a year and a half?

I got my iphone right when it first came out. And it's been getting harder and harder to charge it. I bought new chargers and they worked..for a while. I had to keep getting new ones. Now it won't charge at all. I hooked it up to the USB in my computer: nothing.

Ipod dock: nothing.

2 apple chargers: nothing

a second charger I just bought: NOTHING

I cannot charge it anymore. I'm thinking my battery probably failed? and my iphone's down to 10%. what should I do? I reset it multiple times and it stayed the same. I'm pretty sure the warranty expired too. help, please =[ <33

  1. right, batteries have a limited life. The iphones battery is rated at 500 charges before it needs replaced.

    Your battery is dead.

take your phone to genius bar with $85 + tax and youll get your phone in 3 days.

  2. Sometimes the phone wont charge unless you turn it off and back on. Hold down the power until the slide shows then slide to power it off. If that doesn't work you can either go to the genius bar to get the battery replaced for $85 or do it yourself since it's out of warranty. Several places sell kits for about $25 that let you do it yourself.
