Iphone upgrade to an iphone 3g?

I am considering upgrading my iphone to an iphone 3g. Is it really worth it? What is the difference between the 2?

Also consider why you need the iPhone 3G. The only true features you gain over your current iPhone is GPS, ability to access faster network speeds (Not available everywhere! If 3G is isnt rolled out in your area it will be the same speed as your current iphone when surfing the internet and downloading email attachments) and better battery life. The software you see on the iPhone 3G will be the same that you will have at the end of July on your current iPhone. So consider if these features are worth an extra $146.33 per feature to you.

dont. there is no need of doing that. cause the only difference is the momory, looks, and wifi. the wifi is a little faster then the first one. but as far as i think the first version iphones have fast wifi. unless u are in needy conditions of fast wifi then upgrade. i also hear this time the nvaigation is better. if u need the navigation then upgrade. but i have used the navigation on both so i cant tell u the difference on that.
