Ipod, Itunes, Music?

I had around 4,000 songs on my computer and I uploaded them to my itunes. Then I synced my ipod up and got all the songs on there.

The songs got deleted from the computer but not itunes.

So if I plug my ipod up will the songs still sync to the ipod or will it say they cannot be found and mess it up?

  1. you will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you copy songs in your ipod to computer as itunes blocks the ipod-to-computer transfer, here is a review of top 5 ipod  copying softwares(windows/mac): http://www.ipodtocomputer.net

  2. I think they won't show up. I tried to see if i could clear out the file i would import songs onto my iTunes with so i deleted one song from the file (but left it on iTunes) and the next time I synched my iPod, it said that song could not be found. Sorry, that sucks.

  3. I had this same problem. It will say that the songs cannot be found. The only way to restore it that I could find is to use the ipod as an external drive and copy and paste the song files from there back onto your computer. Unfortunately these song files will have been renamed as a series of letters on your ipod.
