Ipod 3G? ?

do i need to buy a plan to surf the web send emails go to youtube and stuff like that. or can i just buy the 3G and use everything sept text and calling (can i still use app store) please add other details about the iphone along with answer please!

Yes. I'd try an iPod touch for your needs. It doesn't have the cellular data, but it seems perfect for your needs.
