Question:

Ipod Auxiliary Cable question for an older car?

I'm buying my first car and am looking for a way to play my iPod in it. Obviously, whatever car I get won't be made for my iPod to play in it. I have heard that the wireless FM transmitters get a lot of static. I want the cable because what I read is that they produce a clear sound. Does anyone know if there's a SIMPLE way for me to hook it up to my car stereo or of any other ways to play my iPod in the car without static? I'm not sure if my car will have a CD player it might only have cassette, so please try to answer based on me having a cassette player.
