Ipod Nano: how do I create playlists without using itunes?

My Ipod Nano is an 8 gig 3rd generation. How do I create playlists without using itunes?

go to music, then playlist, then on-the go

the directions are pretty simple so follow them

: when a song is selected press and hold the center button to add it to the onthe go playlist. Press nad hold on a aplayist or artist or album to add all of its songs to teh on the go playlist

You can't unless you are going to use something like Yahoo! Jukebox or another program like that. Except for an On The Go playlist which you can add songs by when you are playing the song on your iPod, hold either the middle or the top button and it will be put into the On The Go playlist.
