Ipod Nano?PLEASE HELP!

Question

i have been trying for forever to try to add notes on my ipod and i cant figure out how to do it dose anyone know how!?

yes i read the instructions...i dont get them though...this is what it said-

to view text files here,enable your ipod for disk use in itunes,then simply drag text files to the notes folder on your ipod.

can you comprehend that?i know after someone answers this question im going to feel like an idiot,but this has been driving me crazy!

to enable disk use you click a little box that says it, it comes up when you open itunes when your ipod is connected.  its in the page with the picture of your ipod, and towards the bottom near the line that tells you how much of your ipod's memory is in use.  then make sure the note files are text files, which just means they were saved under notepad instead of word.  then you have to open the ipod folder in "my computer" (hopefully you have a pc i dunno about macs) and in it you will see the "notes folder" just drag your text files into this folder and that's it.  hope this makes sense!
