Ipod Question, I need help ASAP!!?

I took my ipod off my clock charger and it is stuck on one song. I tried to turn it off but it will not turn off. It is like it is frozen. How can I turn it off?

Hold the center button and the middle circe simultaniosly for 5 seconds.

Hold the center button and the menu button as long as you can..

Hold the Menu button and center button until it turns off and resets. Once it resets (which will take about 2 minutes) you are good to go!!
