Ipod Touch Photo App Crashes....

okay so I upgraded to the ipod touch 2.0 and saved some photos from mail and now when i open the app it will act like its loading and go back to the home screen...i heard that you have to delete the photos but my ipod wont show up under my computer to delete the pics. could someone please help me???

Restore your iPod to factory settings. Then put everything back on it. if your new software gets deleted restore that also. If it still doesn't work delete the app or report it. Hopefully it will load on your computer if not take it to the apple store and have them check it out.
