Ipod and Itunes malfunctioning

Question

I have had a sneaky suspicion for a while now my ipod nano has been acting a bit fuuny. On the random shuffle the same songs seem to come up all the time.

Well yesterday I felt like listening to coldplay and when I searched there was no coldplay on my ipod. I went on my itunes, but it was there. It was ticked and my ipod was synced. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

are the itunes songs?  try resetting the ipod press menu and the center button at the same time until the apple appears

I don't know what section you're looking for but sometimes on my iPod if I search for something under 'artists' it won't be there, but will be there under 'songs'.
