my current ipod just died a few days ago. its not technically dead but theres this sad icon face that cycles everytime i turn it on. i heard if u bang it , it'll turn back to normal. i've tried that and it doesn't work ;o

so my question here is that should i buy a new one? im just afraid that i'll waste my money again D: .. but will the hardrive or whatever get mess up if i charge the ipod from the wall outlet? i usually charge it from the usb?.. does charging from the usb usually causes the sad face icon thing?

btw its a nano ipod 30gb.

  1. ok you can take it to an apple store and they will fix it for you or geek squad at best buy.

  2. How long have you had the ipod. If there is still a warranty valid on it you can have it fixed. Or if you bought an extended warranty on it you may be able to have it replaced.

If not your out of luck. Either buy a new one or buy something different.
