i heard somewhere that you could trade in your ipod when it broke and pay little to get a better model...

can you do that with a non broken ipod

if i gave my ipod classic in return for ipod touch not paying full price

  1. No, unless there's some special store. Apple stores won't take them. Maybe a pawn shop, so that way you could get the money and then use it towards a Touch. But otherwise, no.


  2. You really should not believe every rumour or gossip your hear in the same way you shouldn't believe most of what you read in papers or magazines.

    There is NO part-exchange program at all as an official scheme, if you know the shop owner perhaps they can do it as a favour but its not normally done.

    If it was don't you think we'd all be upgrading to the Touch?
