Ipod help please .. ?

ive had my ipod nano for about a year and i got an ipod dock and now whenever i plug my ipod into the computer it doesnt detect it and wont upload any new songs it just charges it on the computer but thats what my dock does .. ?

Well you can try reseting the ipod nano by holding the power button and the up button at the same time for about 5 seconds. If it gets detected at all by your computer then when the itunes window pops up you might want to do a factory restore on it (deletes all songs and restores it to factory conditions.)

ur iPod probably needs reseting, to reset it, hold down the middle and the menu button and wait until the iPod turns off, after it is fully restarted plug it back into ur computer and it will probably work.
